HGOCT: Extra Challenge 5 [Age]

"Do the character age meme by *Thrash-Waltz with your Tribute!"

I'm going for Whip as if he never got drawn into the Games.

Five: 3'5" Whip was a pretty ordinary kid in every aspect. Perhaps he was a little quiet for his age, but would usually be seen with a big, dopey grin on his face, even when the situation didn't warrant it. When asked what he was so happy about, he would reply "If I smile hard enough p'rhaps Mam and Pa'll smile back!"

Fourteen: 6'5" The two years since Whip started growing at an extra-ordinary pace have been difficult. Thankfully now he's got the support of his sibling and his aunt, so he has a much better outlook on things. Neither he nor his brother were reaped that year, so only four more years until he is in the clear. He's glad his brother will never get reaped now. Perhaps the little carvings he's given to his brother each year have been lucky!

Seventeen: 7'0" This was generally a moody period for most teenagers, but not for Whip. He really did try to do the whole moody teenager thing, thinking that perhaps being more aloof and standoffish would gain him a little respect, or perhaps get some people to keep their distance. He was feeling more self-concious than ever, with his height now taking the tallest in District 11. However he was just so genuinely good-natured and helpful that he could never quite pull it off. At his point he started using a cane to support himself, as getting about was starting to prove taxing.

Twentyfive: 7'10" Whip rarely speaks these days, and when he does it has a forlorn, pained edge to it. Probably because he is in pain most of the time, keeping him awake at night so often he has permanent bags under his eyes. He generally tries to keep his aches and pains to himself however, and his seemingly unshakable kindness has not diminished as a result. He would still get up and assist the District 11 citizens with their problems where he could, though with great difficulty. He doesn't often get about either, and when he does it's with crutches, which must be constantly altered as his growth still hasn't ceased. He spends his days carving all manner of things, be they useful or ornamental.

He hit a final height of 8'1", before dying at age 28 from a multitude of health problems (as a result of his great height for the most part)
